Nem5 Web Maggic Awards Program Technology Criteria
52. audio & visual compatibility
Sounds and images should work well together. They should move in a synchronous manner. They should complement each other.
53. visual programming
Visual programming should be clear and easy to see. It must not
move so quickly it can not be followed, nor so slowly it becomes
boring.
54. good use of database
Database information should have a defined purpose. Databases
must be maintained in an up to date manner. If there are no databases,
and the site shows no need for them it will score this point.
55. cutting edge technology
Good use of technologies considered "cutting edge" will
gain this point. This point is for widely recognized forms of
technology. It is for those who lead the way in using them. It
is not for technologies that are rarely seen that require large
downloads to view them.
56. interactive programming
Interactive programming should work well. It should be easy to
understand. Interactive programming includes: games, forms or
any other programming that involves the user being able to influence
the outcome of the final product through interaction with the
interface.
57. properly placed elements
All elements should be placed so that interference with other elements does not occur. Example: layers should not visibly overlap in a manner that causes part or all of a layer to be lost or to seem "covered up."
