I met TnT when he applied for my award in August 1999. I invited him
to judge with us after reviewing his beautifully designed website. As
well as being an L1 judge, TnT is one of our Site Scouts.
TnT was born in Los Angeles in 1947, and has a colorful and varied
history. He's been a cutting edge traditional rock climber, mountaineer,
bird hunter, deer hunter, fly fisherman, scuba diver, spear fisherman,
horseman, working cowboy, steer header, Journeyman Carpenter, Hollywood
movie engineer, paid political philosopher, photographer, writer for
Prentice Hall, programmer, shareware developer, web graphic designer
with the Surveyor Corporation, achieved a black belt ranking in Kung
Fu San Soo, is a modern philosophical Christian along the lines of Mel
Gibson (think 1st Corinthians 13:4-7....it's on his business cards),
and has twice each - been fairly rich and fairly broke. In his Hollywood
career, he worked for Disney (met Walt himself), Warner Brothers, ABC,
NBC, CBS, Paramount, Twentieth Century Fox and others, and has screen
credits on several major motion pictures including Stargate with Kurt
Russel and Dangerous Minds with Michelle Pfeifer. He now heads his own
web and graphic design firm, Dynamite
Digital Designs, from the Sierra Foothills near Yosemite Park
in California.
