No-Right-Click/Disclaimer Page Script With Toolbar on PopUp
Right click and watch what happens.
This script acts like most no-right-click scripts, except it
has a twist. After the user right clicks and sees the window stating
they may not right click, another page will pop up with your site
disclaimer on it.
The original No-Right-Click portion of the script was written
by Martin Webb. The
addition of the Disclaimer-Page-PopUp was written by Maggi
Norris and added with Martin's permission.
There are two parts to this script. The first part works with
or without a toolbar on the popup page. This page shows how to
use the script with a toolbar on the disclaimer page. If you would
like to use the script, but block your users from having a toolbar
on the disclaimer page, please use the script HERE.
Step 1
1. This first part has to go into the head of your page. It must
be between the <head> and the </head> tags in order
to work.
2. You will need to change the http://www.yoursite.com/disclaimer.html
to the URL where you keep your disclaimer page.
Step 2
1. This second part of the script has to go at the end of your
page after the </html> tag.
If you have problems getting the script and still want it, please
let me know. It is part of the lesson. Even with the best no-right
click script, people can still take your work. This script is
offered only with the understanding that it can only protect your
work from those who have not learned how to use all the functions
of their browsers or to find the caches on their system.
This script will not work if your browser has script or pop-up
blocking enabled.
