This site has been designed to feature the local history of Pittsfield
Township, Michigan. It was developed so that other local historical
societies can adapt it and/or use it as a model for their own
site -- and to facilitate linkages among related sites. A major
objective was creating as site that is easy to maintain, add new
content, and modify as needed.

This is an educational history site, devoted to the history of
Pelham, New York in lower Westchester County, New York (a suburb
of New York City). This content rich site deals with the history
of the area from the mid-17th century to the present and includes
everything from local ghost stories to scholarly presentations
regarding important issues of local history such as the Battle
of Pelham on October 18, 1776 during the Revolutionary War.
